5 WAYS TO STYLE OUTFITS WITH BLAZERS!
Blazer, a piece of clothing which I take very seriously! Haha JK ;)
For me, blazers are kind of a staple in my wardrobe. I have been building my collection for a few years now. I suggest you guys to invest in at least one well structured blazer because it will go a long way.
It is such a versatile piece of clothing which you can style in various ways. Depending on the silhouette of blazer, it can be formal, semi formal or casual! Yes! you can style blazers casually and I will share with you all, ‘How’.
Few years back I had difficulty styling blazers for informal settings. Limited was my knowledge of styling, but it always intrigued me because whenever I saw someone wearing a well structured blazer, it immediately created a great first-first impression(before you actually talk to someone)
In this blog, I will share few different ways you can elevate your outfits by incorporating blazers.
ANTI-FIT DRESSES
If you have read my last blog post, you know I have been enjoying my anti-fit dresses a lot these days.
Comfortable as they are, you should not restrict wearing them just for weekends or beach vacation. Adding blazer can elevate this very ‘informal’ outfit to more ‘semi-formal event’.
Check out the picture here, I absolutely adore this blue stripped dress from &otherstories and God knows I am past cost per wear with this dress, I lived in this dress last summer. And, this summer I tried to revamp it by styling it with a linen blazer
I have another example for you all to check out. This back tiered dress from H&M has undoubtedly sped her way to being my most worn dress this last month. Its flowing silhouette makes it chic, breezy and flirty at the same time. Usually, I would pair this dress with jute cross body bag and tan flats. But, why restrict a garment just for one occasion. Style this dress up with black pinstriped double breasted blazer and white trainers for ‘another day at office’ look!
GIVE A BREAK
You can use solid colour blazer to break a heavily printed co-ord set. Check this picture out. I am rocking a paisley print co-ord pyjama set. This could be a great ‘brunch with friends’ kinda outfit, paired with white strappy sandals for more feminine look. But, not always one wants to go heavy with print on print. So, adding a blazer breaks a outfit and gives it more structured feel. Personally, I like to pair this outfit with a pair of white trainers, a sleek pony and a large bag for more formal look.
I did a video last week for my Youtube channel which has 2 bonus outfit ideas. Do let me know which was your favourite look and How you usually style your blazers.
Have a great week ahead !
