Whenever I create any content, a styling video or a picture, there are few details which I always keep in mind. One such detailing is accessorising your outfits. Adding jewellery could be the perfect amount of bling you need. A chunky necklace or a pair of statement earrings go a long way!

Link Chain

As the name suggests, this trend is loosely based on assembly of connected pieces, called links.

This trend started in 2019, but quickly made its way to 2020 and still going strong! From necklaces to bracelets & link earrings, there is something for everyone here !

You need not have a huge budget to get your hands on this trend which in my opinion is quite timeless. There are some great options at high street as well. Mango and Zara does some really good link jewellery designs.

Fresh water pearls

I am not talking about real pearls here , but the freshwater pearls(faux pearls). Pearls usually have the capacity to make any outfit look expensive. May be because we usually relate them to ‘someone who is really posh’. But in recent times, we are seeing a lot more experimentation with traditional pearl designs and patterns. Layering pearls with gold is a really chic way to amp up your basic outfit. My pick would definitely be organically shaped freshwater(faux) pearl earrings. They are dainty yet compliment almost every outfit.

Flat Snake Chain Necklace

Flat snake chains are pivotal point to start your layering game. They are bold but not too bold and you can add different textures and metals around it. You can add different pendant shapes and different textures of chains around it.

Gold Hoops

Classic and timeless. Everyone should own at least one pair of medium sized gold chunky hoops. There are some amazing options at high street but I recommend you to invest in good quality gold hoops. They will not tarnish and it will be something that you own and wear for years to come and later may be pass it onto next generation, younger siblings, nieces or even grand daughters.

Molten Hoops and Hammered Earrings

It’s exactly what it sounds but indeed a sophisticated version. The jewellery looks like it been hammered to give a particular shape. I love pieces like this because of their organic shapes. They look quite effortless and chic !

Dainty stacking rings

If you are a minimalist, this trend is tailored made for you. Stacking dainty rings can be such a statement. Its elegant but barely there. This would be perfect for people working in an office job, but loves jewellery also don’t want to overwhelm their surroundings. Stacking rings in my opinion is an art, its not easy trust me. I stalk Pinterest when it comes to finding inspiration for dainty rings.

Chunky curved ring

Wow! This one has my heart. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE A BOLD STATEMENT IN MY JEWELLERY and a chunky ring does justice to that. This is another trend being carried over from 2019 and still going strong. &OtherStories did some brilliant designs last summer. I did stalk some other girls on Pinterest, stacking these chunky rings and sometimes mixing the metals, which I am all for.

Boyfriend Stacking Ring

It’s just a modern way of describing bold and chunky band ring. It can be styled just as it is or stacked up with few dainty rings as well. Minimalists do tend to love this trend a lot. It has got an androgynous vibe.

Signet Rings

These were originally known as ‘gentleman’s ring’ usually a family heirloom. But, times have changed and now it’s fashion for both men and women equally. There are some signet ring options if you are someone who loves bold’er’ statement. They are quite androgynous.

ANKLETS

Anklets are back and how!!! I believe anklets are are the best accessory for summers. And this time they are back with a bang! They are grown up with modern designs and there is nothing juvenile about them! Have a look and find it out for yourself.
