Sorry for not writing to you guys for two weeks now but I am back with another blog which I feel could be helpful to you girls.
Ok, I am not a person who is a fan of wearing saree. I know I know some of you will be like “whaaaat”!!!! But personally I feel its bit difficult to manage, although I love seeing others draping them and carrying them so well, In short I am mesmerized by its grace.
So when Indisans approached me to do a look book with their sarees I was little apprehensive whether to do it or not, but then I thought “what the hell. Lets do this”!!!! 😛
I saw their collection and chose three sarees for the look book and thought of experimenting with their styles. So here I am with my own twisted version of 6 yards of grace and beauty!!
- The Black Magic
Draped this black banarasi cotton saree with red border in half dhoti style and paired it with white and black stripped crop top. The crop top gave that edge to whole look. I completed the look with messy side bun, red bangles and dark lips.
- Hello sunshine
The moment I saw this saree I fell in love with it! Look at the color you guys, its so vibrant and the contrast to its magenta border caught me in an instance.
I paired this gorgeous piece with plain denim shirt because I wanted all attention to the beauty of the saree, and instead of leaving the ‘pallu’ as it is, I wrapped it around my neck.
Completed this look with minimal makeup and big hoop earrings.
- Blue Tranquility
With this blog you will know that I am in LOVE with crop tops lately. This blue reminds me of serenity and calmness. Paired this blue toned saree with brown stripped crop top from Forever 21. I wasn’t too sure how this look will turn out to be but then I went ahead with my instincts.
I draped this saree ‘seedha pallu’ style and tied this pearl neck piece as a waistband ‘kamarband’.
Completed this look with nude lips and winged eyeliner!
So these were my three looks with these gorgeous sarees. Let me know which one was your favorite look. I feel you girls can try these looks and all eyes will be on you 🙂
Till the next time!
